Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. American Girl Doll Loom Knit Hat
I'm pleased to say I finished my hat for my donation doll. The blue knifty knitter is perfect if you want to loom knit a hat for your 18" doll. You can follow the basic knifty knitter hat directions or try your own alternate style.
I started a matching scarf on the blue loom. It doesn't work quite as fast as crocheting, but since I have more time to go before I can resume crocheting, it is keeping me busy and I'm still producing items that will add to my donation project.
If my skills really improve I have a sweater pattern I bought ages ago that I would love to try. I have a long way to go before I get there, though.
Very cute! :)
ReplyDeleteHow do you like loom knitting? I've never tried, although I've thought about it for socks?
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog recently and your kind words during a tough time. Good news, my husband came home and is doing very well. The crochet/knit community is so supportive! Have a great day.
