Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. American Girl Holiday Dress
This is my first attempt at Darski's Green Christmas pattern. This one did not make the Christmas box I sent out, but will be going to one of my Christmas Eve visitors. I am thinking about making a second one for a St. Patrick's box. After all, a fancy green dress for St. Patrick's Day is not unheard of for these dolls. Perhaps by then I will have tracked down the green/green metallic. If not the green/silver, it will be for the outfit.
I learned new skills and am still perfecting them because of making this dress. It is one of the things I love about crocheting. There is always something new to learn. I have not perfected the techniques, but finishing the gown was an achievement I am feeling pride in this holiday season.
