Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. Seahorse Pilgrim
I decided to make the second holiday seahorse a Thanksgiving one. As with the Santa Seahorse, I used Mausica Magical's free pattern. To make the Pilgrim hat, I used a free Ken Pattern. As I mentioned in the Santa Seahorse blog, I changed the fins and scales after making the first seahorse.
While I have not found the availability of free Thanksgiving patterns on the Internet that I have discovered for Halloween, Easter, or Christmas, I am finding ways to adapt the accessories for the patterns I do find to make new ones.
The seahorse was made from a combination of Red Heart Super Saver and Caron One Pound Yarn, and some discontinued yarn I picked up at a Church sale that I used for the fins and scales.

This little guy is cute too! I have to say, I like this way of doing the fins better.
