Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. American Girl Doll Loom Knit Hat
I'm pleased to say I finished my hat for my donation doll. The blue knifty knitter is perfect if you want to loom knit a hat for your 18" doll. You can follow the basic knifty knitter hat directions or try your own alternate style.
I started a matching scarf on the blue loom. It doesn't work quite as fast as crocheting, but since I have more time to go before I can resume crocheting, it is keeping me busy and I'm still producing items that will add to my donation project.
If my skills really improve I have a sweater pattern I bought ages ago that I would love to try. I have a long way to go before I get there, though.

Very cute! :)
How do you like loom knitting? I've never tried, although I've thought about it for socks?
I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog recently and your kind words during a tough time. Good news, my husband came home and is doing very well. The crochet/knit community is so supportive! Have a great day.
