Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. Hello Kitty Witch
This is an adaptation of Armina Ami Nal's Hello Kitty Witch pattern. I started the dress at the open instead of the closed end. I experimented with fingering yarn instead of worsted weight yarn for the clothes. This witch also has a cloak.
The one challenge with finger weight yarn I found with both the Santa and the Witch is it doesn't hold the shape for the hats the way the worsted weight does. It has a lighter look to it for the dresses, but it sags a bit when making the hats. It's something to consider for future projects.
