Crafting is fun for all ages and interests. This blog evolved from researching resources for friends and articles I write as a freelance writer. It is a place to share the information I discovered. Please feel free to leave comments and questions. I am always looking at new projects ideas for family and friends in areas of my own abilities and theirs. Mouse and Cookie
I love when I can make toys that encourage children to enjoy reading, revisit a book, or maybe even enjoy a new one. I ran across free patterns for the characters from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and If You Give a Pig a Pancake a while back.
Updated to add sadly the patterns have been removed again. If I find them I will add them again.
I downloaded copies for myself and added the links to my toy page. The links eventually went dead, I took them down and still had not made the mouse or the pig. Recently, I found the links for the mouse and the pig were available again. After adding them to my toy page, the projects seemed like perfect additions for my Easter box. When I finished the mouse, I could not return to the pirates right away. I continued right on to the pig. So, both books and toys will be included in the Easter box. I have the second book on order.
